Our story spans three generations of service to Eastern North Carolina.
The Roots
Wayne's Appliance Services was born right here in New Bern, NC, when my granddad started fixing iceboxes and window units for neighbors along the Neuse. Back then, a handshake was your warranty, and word-of-mouth was our Google review. We've kept those values alive for three generations.
Did you know that Wayne once fixed a refrigerator during Hurricane Hazel using only a flashlight and basic tools?
Growing with the Community
As New Bern and the Crystal Coast grew, so did we—servicing everything from old-school Frigidaires in historic homes to the latest smart appliances in waterfront condos. We expanded into Carteret, Onslow, and Pitt counties, becoming the go-to for everything from kitchen makeovers to hurricane recovery repairs.
Did you know that after Hurricane Florence, Wayne's team repaired over 200 appliances in just two weeks to help the community recover?
The Modern Era
Today, Wayne's is still family-owned and run, but we've added marine appliance service (yachts, shrimp boats—you name it), premium outdoor kitchens, and business equipment. We're proud partners with Ray Murray Inc. for gas and propane solutions, and we offer white-glove service for everything from Phoenix Grills to custom fireplaces.
